Barnala: Punjab-UT Employees and Pensioners Joint Front District Barnala, after staging a Protest Rally In Support Of Their Demands, they reached the local residence of Punjab Pradesh Congress state leader and former MLA Kewal Singh Dhillon and handed over a letter of protest to Dhillon’s PA Happy Dhillon.
Addressing the rally District Convener Master Bakhshish Singh, Anil Barnala, Mohan Singh Ware House, Harinder Ajitan, Balwant Singh Bhullar, Para mjit Singh Pasi, Harjit Singh, Darshan Cheema, Jagwinder Pal Handiaya strongly condemned the anti-employee statements being made by the Finance Minister Manpreet Badal.
The employees demanded immediate implementation of the pay commission, the permanent appointment of temporary employees, New recruitment should be started immediately, old pension should be restored, the minimum wage should be imposed on Anganwadi workers, mid-day meal workers. Leaders Balwinder Singh Dhaner, Gurjant Kaira, Sukhjant Singh, Manohar Lal, Ramesh Kumar Hamdard, Harpal Sahur, Tahil Singh Kattu, Chamkaur Kaira, Tejinder Singh Teji, Harbans Singh Sehna, Binder Singh, and Ajinder Pal Singh warned the Punjab government that if the demands of Punjab employees and pensioners were not met immediately, a mass rally would be held on February 12 against the Punjab government.
