LEICESTER’S title hopes were dealt a huge blow as Patrick Bamford inspired Leeds to a superb victory.
The English striker played a part in all three goals but bagged the all-important winner with a stunning strike.
Harvey Barnes fired the hosts ahead on 13 minutes before Stuart Dallas pegged them back immediately.
With 20 minutes left on the clock, Bamford struck a brilliant effort into the top corner leaving Kasper Schmeichel with no chance.
The forward then turned provider to unselfishly set up Jack Harrison and add the gloss on a fine afternoon for Marcelo Bielsa’s men.
Defeat leaves Leicester five points adrift of Man City having also played a game extra.
